Hughes #4 Soil Blend (1G)

This is our most used soil blend! The #4 soil works great for any marginal pond plant or water lily. It is made up of:

• 60% Coconut Coir
• 40% Pumice
• with added Nutricote

Consider adding a bag of our pea gravel to your order! We like to plant our marginal water plants and lilies in the #4 soil, top with pea gravel, and water deeply before carefully placing in the pond. This reduces the chance of soil escaping the pot when putting your plant into the pond.
